On 1st January of 1996, Pilihan FM was designated to be a radio station that will fulfill the needs of listeners that are from different culture. Pilihan FM is an info-tainment network & is the first 24-hour English language radio station in Brunei. Our main language of broadcast is English, followed by Mandarin Chinese and Nepali. It features oldies music and the current hit song (English and mandarin songs) from around the world. Pilihan FM broadcasts over the whole of Brunei on the frequencies 95.9FM and 96.9FM. The word Pilihan means your choice in Malay, from which its slogan, Simply Your Choice! is coined.
